Minutes of
the Central Committee meeting held on the 16th March 2008 at
Birmingham
1. Welcome Dr Shree
Krishna Singh welcomed the members to the 5th meeting of 2006-2009
central committee.

3. Minutes of the
meeting held on 13th Oct 2007 at Bolton was passed as true reflection.
4. President’s report
Dr Shree Krishna Singh welcomed Dr Rajeeva Singh to the 2006-2009
central committee, in his absence. He thanked every member for
their active support and for the smooth functioning of the central
committee.
5. Secretary’s report
Dr Sanjay Arya expressed his satisfaction that members were
taking the meetings seriously and were making efforts to attend.
This has led to new and emerging ideas. He presented the record
of attendance of members at the last meeting on 13th Oct 2007.
Total CC members as of 13th October 2007 25 Members attended
20(80%) Apologies 5 He was very pleased with continuing rise
in the membership and with the healthy balance in the account.
6. Treasurer’s report:
Mr Rajesh Choudhary presented details of the membership. Total
members 169 Life members 110 Annual members 59 New members were
welcomed to the organisation: Dr Baxi Sinha, Dr Nitu Singh,
Dr Nawal Jha, Mr Ashok Pathak, Dr Ramashray Singh, Dr K C Pandeya,
Dr Kishore Tiwary
7. Election 2009
2012 Dr S K Singh informed the members that election for central
committee is due to take place next year. He reminded everyone
that those who were paid members till 31st Jan 2008 will be
eligible to stand or vote. This will be incorporated into the
next constitution.
8. Future BJMA annual
reunions BJMA 2009: Dr L B Mandal kindly agreed to host the
2009 Annual reunion. Every one thanked him for his gesture and
assured full support. BJMA 2010: Dr Anjani Kumar kindly accepted
to host BJMA 2011: Dr Basant Choudhary kindly accepted to host
9. Members were reminded
that the current membership subscription is as follows: Life
membership: Couple £250 Individual £150 Retired £100 Students
£100 Annual membership £20 (Standing order only)
10. Dr S K Singh
thanked Dr Rashmi Praksh, Dr Divya Prakash and their team for
hosting the meeting. He also appreciated the great effort they
were putting in to host the 2008 Annual reunion. |
