Organises Charity functions,  Annual Old Boy’s Meet and Scientific Meeting for the doctors and their families from Bihar and Jharkhand who are residing in UK Members of the Association are already doing charity work in Bihar, Jharkhand and other states of India

BIHAR FLOOD RELIEF PROJECT Year 2008 was a testing time for all of us with news of devastating floods affecting our fellow countrymen in North Bihar. The Central Committee feels proud of the contribution made by our members. We were able to collect £4000 (Rs 29,0610) The contribution was donated on the 15th of April 2009 to Inner Wheel, an International Organisation of the Rotary Club run by wives of Rotarians. The money went to the Bihar Chapter of the organisation, which was utilised to distribute “thelas” and “rickshaws” to the needy, as a means of providing long term earning for the family. The then Chairman of the Bihar chapter of Inner Wheel, Dr Neena Kumar sent her greetings through their newsletter. Our contribution was shown in their accounts. (Report compiled by Mr A Sinha)
